Keepsake Blooms™ are carefully packaged with each edible flower and leaf individually protected to help preserve their delicate petals and hand-painted details during shipping. Once unpacked, the pieces can be placed together to recreate our signature floral arrangement or positioned individually to complement the size and style of your cake.
How do I arrange them on my cake?
No cake-decorating experience is required. Simply place your edible flowers and leaves directly onto your finished cake, using our product photos as inspiration for the signature Keepsake Blooms™ arrangement. Because each flower is placed individually, you can also adjust the spacing and positioning to create a floral cake design that works beautifully with your cake.
What size cakes are they designed for?
Our Signature Keepsake Blooms™ are designed especially for 6–8 inch cakes, where the peony, rose, bud and leaves create a statement floral arrangement without overwhelming the cake. The individual pieces can also be spaced differently to suit your design. For cupcakes, mini cakes and smaller desserts, our Rose Petits™ offer individual edible rose cake toppers in a smaller size.
How long do edible cake flowers last?
Unlike fresh cake flowers, Keepsake Blooms™ won't wilt during your celebration. When stored properly in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat, they can remain beautiful for months before enjoying. Their long shelf life also allows you to order your edible cake flowers ahead of your wedding, birthday, anniversary or other celebration rather than waiting until the last minute.
Can Keepsake Blooms™ be refrigerated?
If your cake requires refrigeration, we recommend storing your Keepsake Blooms™ separately in a cool, dry place and adding the edible flowers shortly before displaying or serving your cake. Refrigerators contain moisture, and condensation caused by refrigeration and temperature changes may affect the smooth finish or delicate hand-painted details of the flowers.
